Where she has gone I cannot go. I must wait my time, suffering here all alone.

In death
You lay
Your life
Taken away
Burnt down
Ripped apart
Before time
Before fate
An anomaly
Of existence
Despite
Thus Circumventing
God’s truest intentions
Wherever you are
I am not
At least not yet
In shambles
In this place
And life without you
I have since
Remained
Waiting
Wondering
Pontificating upon
Such suffering
I have much to say
But no one
To say it to
So here I am
Lending words
To your memory
To the idea of what
We once had
And all that I lost
Wherever you are
I’ll continue on
Hurting
So damn much
Wishing
I could have saved you
From the darkness
Of your choices
From the demons
Of your existence
I was not there
When you did
What you did
To yourself
To us
But I did see
What was done
Such an image
Burns this mind
Such a memory
Haunts the soul
Wherever you are
I hope I’ll someday be
I am not afraid
To go where you’ve gone
But I am terrified
To go before my time
Of little faith
You stood truer than I
You feared not the leap
And had no concern
For what was next
You feared only
The life to remain
And dare I say
So do I…
