About race relations.
The sunset touches black fields and white fields
Stone men with carved faces toil in those fields
They come in shades of black and white

The laborers' town is divided between black
and white.
Sunset darkens the black buildings, and brightens the
White
Sunset-light shimmers on a river which
divides, a river made of tears
Nightfall comes, and the town falls into deeper
hues of black and white
Dilapidation stares at serenity
from across the river
They make eye contact, then look away

Stone people alive in the darkness
Thinking darkened thoughts
Someone is dead now, cross the river
No one really cares
