This 14-line sonnet is created in the haiku style to meet Gabriella's pop-up challenge.
some days are so cold
trees await the white snowflakes
will they ever come

years without one flake
then one April eve it comes
frosty hands take pics

in the morning sun
flakes then melt and start to leave
water on the ground

tufts of white linger
hearts melt tears at snowy loss
when will they return

snowy pictures in the mind
dot cool breezes of the day

Line Count: 14
