Sweet chocolate eyes
evoking soft sighs
I draw closer— how near,
shall I trust.

Trust myself as I long
as I yearn what is wrong,
never—
to confide in my heart.

Heart ill with ache,
stay desire for soul’s sake,
never holding—
lovely brown eyes,
as mine.
