For a friend who was wronged
studying the cloudless night sky
the moon smirks at me and I grin back
I am reminded as the stars show brightly
how much you mean to me

how strong and bold
my hunter and warrior
stung by the scorpion's venom

my silver bow and arrow smote
to banish that evil from your world
and raise you to the heavens
where everyone can see you shine
steadfast and eternal
