Acrostic poem about springtime for Elizabeth's Poetry & Short Story Contest March entry.
Snow fades into pleasant memory
Peach blossoms flower on the trees
Rain falls from the sky, cool and clean
Inside, I watch the seasons change
Nothing compares to the freshness in the air
Greenest blades of grass sprout up
Time has brought us growth and renewal
Imaginings of love bloom with the flowers
May rushes in the fresh-faced beauty
Everything becomes new
