Writer's Cramp Entry for Sunday April 16
#2118670 by Chris Breva

The Writer's Cramp prompt are Charlie Chaplin movie titles.

1. City Lights
2. Modern Times
3. The Great Dictator
4. The Kid
5. A Countess from Hong Kong
6. The Gold Rush

Charlie Chaplin lived under City Lights
He made movies for people to watch some nights
In these late and Modern Times
Charlie's movies are treated like crimes.

The Kids these days do not like old things
The Great Dictator is anything that some joy brings
They are always looking for The Gold Rush
They tell The Countess from Hong Kong to hush.

Charlie would be sad to see movies today
There is always nudity on display
He would not know how to act
It would shock him that is a fact.

Today's movies may have some charm
Charlie Chaplin would raise an alarm.
