I regret nothing, yet I regret everything---? ? ?
It’s not like life itself was complicated, rather that everything in the existence of life made it that way. But after nearly fourteen years locked in the darkest part of the mind, a shadow came to experience life as it truly was. He rubbed his eyes. Repetitively. Nothing was clear. Yet it was all so dazzling. Every color mashed together. He couldn’t make anything out. But yet he still stared at it all with wonder filling his eyes. With this thing called life, he didn’t see the complexity everyone else saw. With life finally flowing inside this shadow, he was able to feel the beauty of light pouring down his body gently.

He rubbed his eyes once more and sat up in bed. He wished he could have taken back the day he visited life.
