longing for someone who has moved on from you. (written a few years ago)
Sitting in a grassy meadow of mirrors yet I see no reflection.
(Am I even there?)
I can feel hands around my neck and I know they're yours.
(How am I even here?)
The scenery changes and suddenly it is night.
(Where did the stars go?)
I know they're not in your eyes, they left you long ago.
(Did we become the stars?)
Drifting through space and your cold hand graces mine.
(Where are you?)
All alone I feel you all over me.
(Why can't I see anymore?)
Blindness takes over, I want you next to me.
(Aren't you already here?)
Your tongue is poison, please kiss me so I can sleep by your side.
