This was a free-write in my WRIT 101 class. I just wrote how I felt.
I am stuck.

Stuck in the machine of life.
The cogs and wheels keep turning and turning,
but no one hears my screams.

My body is being crushed and stretched all at once,
by some invisible force that no one seems to see or care about.

My lungs tremble.
My heart beats hard.
