The luck of the Irish on St. Patty’s Day - a poem.
Sporting natty green attire,
While boasting a love for tradition
Dating back centuries,
Millions celebrate luck
And good fortune aplenty
Every March 17th;
The day marking a respite
From worldly activities
To party with the shamrock
And pot of gold made famous
By the people of Ireland...

The clicking of heels
And iconic foods
Offer indulgences
Which can only be described
As blissful on this day
Commemorating the Irish’s
Bold and lasting heritage...

Another round shall enliven
And instill the mischievous aura
Befitting the watchful keeper -
As he guards his gold coins
At the end of the brightly-lit rainbow.
