A boy who lost his way.
Snowy Dune

There was a boy
who lost his way
and found no help;
no help that day.

As dark of night
was closing in
the goosebumps raised
upon his skin.

He heeded what
his father said
and pitched a camp
to ease his dread.

A fire built
the embers glowed
and warmed his soul
against the cold.

The falling snow
grew awful deep.
His eyes then closed,
he fell asleep.

Then father came
and saved his son.
He woke him up
they had to run.

They made their way
through snowy dune
to hearth and home
beneath the moon.
