A Dr Quinn Fan Fiction Story

Twenty year old Brian Cooper walked along Boyleston Street with his friend and co-worker Kit Stephens. They were on their way to the library to do research for an article they were writing for the Boston Globe. Brian nodded his hello's to the young women he met along the way.
"Do you know the new article where men advertise for a Bride?" Kit asked looking at his blonde haired friend.
Brian nodded.
"I wrote an advertisement for the both of us," Kit said smiling.
Brian stopped in his tracks and looked at Kit, "You what?!"
Kit laughed, "It's not so bad Bri..."
"Have you seen the men that come in with advertisements for that article....we're better than that!"
"So we're not desperate men who will do anything for a wife....we have an advantage over them really," Kit smiled, "Think about it Brian, we're young, handsome..."
Brian nodded and began walking again, "The things you get me into." Kit laughed, "It'll be fine Bri, maybe someone rich will reply."
Brian looked at his friend, "You and money."
"Hey, you can't live without it you know,” Kit answered.
Brian sighed, “I know.”

Sixteen year old Ruth Hayward sat at the piano in her parents elaborate New York mansion. She stared out into the street below the window the piano sat in front. She let out a sigh as she looked at her engagement ring sparkle in the sunlight. A big gaudy ring given to her by her betrothed on her birthday almost a year ago.
"What's the matter, Ruthie?" her little sister Annie asked hearing her sisters sigh.
"Jonas,” Ruth answered.
Annie sighed, "Did you two have a fight again?" she asked looking up from the New York Times.
"No, we didn't....I'm just not happy,” Ruth said.
"Why,” Annie asked.
"I don't love him, Annie,” Ruth said looking at her sister.
Annie stared at her big sister, "But papa...."
"Yes, yes, but papa said if I don't marry him I won't get my inheritance....Annie, I was never one for fancy things, you know that."
"Yes, but..."
"But?" Ruth asked, starring at her sister.
"He's rich, and has all that money,” Annie said.
"He's old."
"He owns most of New York,” Annie said.
"Then you marry him,” Ruth snapped, twisting her engagement ring.
"He didn't ask me,” Annie said looking at the paper again.
Ruth sighed, "It won't come off,” she said twisting and pulling on the ring.
Annie burst out laughing, "You've got to read this..." she began, trying to control her laughter.
"Read what?" Ruth asked, as she continued to pull on her ring.
"Listen to this..." Annie said, trying not to laugh again, "Boston Globe reporter seeking young woman to consider marriage. Must be willing to relocate to Boston, and enjoy traveling. If interested reply to Brian Cooper, Boston Globe."
Ruth stopped pulling and tugging on her engagement ring, and stared at her sister, "Let me see that." Annie laughed as she handed the paper to her sister, "Quite funny, isn't it Ruthie?"
"Oh...yes, very,” Ruth said, faking a laugh as she read over Brian's advertisement.
‘It would get me away from Jonas,’ Ruth thought.

Brian sat at his desk writing the last of his article when Kit came running in.
"Brian, you got a response!!" he exclaimed plopping himself down on Brian's desk, sitting on part of Brian's article.
Kit sat there staring at the writing on the envelope, "Beautiful handwriting."
"Get off my desk would ya?" Brian said pulling on his article with one hand, and scooting Kit off with the other.
"Sorry," Kit began as he got off the desk, "Here, read this." he said handing Brian the letter.
"When I get time, I need to finish this...deadline, you know,” Brian replied putting the envelope in this pocket.
"Oh, come on...take a break and open it!” Kit said.
Brian sighed, "You drive a hard bargin."
"Yes, I do. Now read the letter,” Kit said smiling as he dragged a chair over to Brian's desk.
Brian stopped typing and stared at Kit, “You really need to be patient."
Kit smiled, "I am."
"About as patient as a baby,” Brian said smiling back as he took the envelope out of his pocket. Brian read the front of the envelope, brought it to his nose to breathe in the perfumed beauty of its scent.
“Are you going to open it?" Kit asked.
Brian sighed, "Oh, alright!" he picked up his letter opener, and started dragging it along the top of the envelope.
Kit leaned in to get a better view, just in case the girl enclosed a photograph of herself.
"Nosey aren't we?" Brian asked holding the envelope close at an angle where Kit couldn't see the contents.
Kit sighed, and sat back in his chair, crossing his arms in a huff. "Why do you have all the luck with women?"
"Hmm...maybe cause I'm young, handsome...." Brian smiled at his friend who was a few years older than him.
"Haha,” Kit said back.
Brian took out the letter and unfolded it. Inside the letter was a photograph of the young girl who had replied. He sat back in his chair and read the letter, occasionally looking at the photograph that he held in the other hand.
“Well??" Kit asked.
"She's beautiful,” Brian said.
"Well...I could tell that from her handwriting," Kit began.
Brian smiled.
"Is she coming here?"
Brian sighed, "It's a process, dear friend, a process."
“You’re not getting any younger,” Kit said.
“These things take time,” Brian replied as he put the letter in his pocket and got back to his article.

Ruth faked a smile, as her fiancé sat beside her at a formal luncheon with her parents.
"That last gown you tried on dear, it was beautiful,” her mother said smiling at her.
Ruth sighed, "Yes, mother."
They were spending the day trying out different wedding gowns for Ruth and Jonas' big day, which was set to take place a week from Saturday.
Jonas took Ruth's left hand, looking at the expensive engagement ring he'd given her. He frowned, "Ruthie darling, does the ring not fit properly?" he said noticing the red marks on her finger from her trying to get the ring off.
"Oh...no dear, it's alright,” Ruth lied.
"It had better be, I paid the top jewelry makers in New York City,” Jonas said letting go of her hand. Ruth sighed, "Yes, I know dear.”
"Ruth, have you decided on the Bridesmaids dresses?" her mother asked.
"No mother, I have not."
"Well, why in the world haven't you?"
Ruth sighed again.
"Ruthie, darling, you're doing a lot of sighing...are you alright?" Jonas asked looking at his young fiancee. Ruth looked into Jonas' eyes.
"Shall we take a walk, my sweetheart?" he answered upon seeing the look in her eyes.
"Please,” Ruth nodded.

*************************************

"Well...are you going to show me her picture?" Kit asked.
“You'll see her in due time,” Brian replied.
"Oh? Is she coming here?"
Brian smiled, "You're too persistent."
"Has she written anymore letters?"
"Yes, she has,” Brian smiled.
“And?? When is she coming?” "Haven't you gotten any replies?" Brian wondered aloud, it had been three months since they posted the advertisements.
Kit looked at the floor, staring at his feet, "No." he said in a low voice.
Brian grinned, “Guess I have an advantage over you really....young...handsome..."
"Yeah, yeah,” Kit said turning on his heels. He walked away from Brian's desk.
Brian laughed.

*************************************

"Ruthie darling, why? I thought we were in love?" Jonas said in a hurt voice as she sat on a bench in Central Park.
"No Jonas, YOU were in love,” Ruth said, beginning to pull on her engagement ring again.
“But, your inheritance...I'm rich, are you out of your mind child?" Jonas said.
"That's exactly it Jonas, you're 41 and I'm seventeen. A child compared to you,” Ruth said. She let out a victorious sigh as the engagement ring slide off her finger. She looked at it, then handed it to Jonas, "Here!"
"But your inheritance....” Jonas said taking the ring and looking at it.
“I don't want my parents money."
"Why on God's green earth not?!" Jonas gasped, not able to understand how someone could not want money.
"You don't need money to be happy."
"Yes...you do." Jonas said.
"No Jonas, money isn't everything."
Jonas swallowed hard, "Have you met someone younger?"
“Yes, I have."
"Do I know him? Is he from a good family? Do they have money?"
"No, you don't know him. He's from a good family,” Ruth said smiling as she stood up and walked away.
"Money...do they have money??" Jonas ran to catch up with her.
"No,” Ruth said.
"What's his name?"
"Brian,” Ruth smiled thinking of the young man in Boston that had been writing to her for three months now.
"How did you meet?"
"Annie,” Ruth said, after all, it was Annie that had shown her Brian's ad.
“Your sister?!" Jonas asked, "Good god little girl, how old is this...Brian."
" Twenty."
" Twenty? How...."
"I really must be getting home now, thank you for a lovely time,” Ruth said simply.
"Ruthie...have you thought this over? You've got to be out of your mind!" Jonas said.
"No, Mr. Riley...I have thought it through thoroughly. I am not out of my mind."
"Mr. Riley?" Jonas asked in a hurt tone.
"You are my elder....yes, Mr. Riley."
Jonas looked down, then back up at Ruth, “I'll drop you off at home now."
"Thank you,” Ruth said, "I would appreciate that."
Jonas nodded.

Brian sat in his sister Colleen's parlour, holding Andre` on his lap while Becky and Kendra played on the floor with blocks Sully had sent from Colorado Springs.
"Where's Andrew and Andy?" Brian asked. He had just arrived for a visit at his sisters and noticed his brother-in-law and nephew not around.
"Andrew had a house call and took Andy along,” Colleen smiled.
"Ah...okay,” Brian said as he noticed baby Michaela crying.
"I'll go get her and then come back downstairs,” Colleen said, "Watch them for me?"
Brian nodded, "Of course."
"You seem really happy today Uncle Brian,” Kendra said looking at Brian. Brian smiled, "Yes, I am."
"Uncle Brian...how come you don't have a wife?" Three year old Becky asked.
Brian smiled, "That's all gonna change soon Beck."
Kendra smiled big, showing her new missing tooth. "What's her name?" "Ruth."
"Okay, what are you four talking about?" Colleen said as she sat on the couch with 11 month old Michaela in her arms.
"Uncle Brian has a wife,” Becky said.
Colleen giggled, "Don't you mean, Uncle Brian has found a wife?"
"Uh huh...mama, he is gonna get married!” Kendra exclaimed grinning wide.
Colleen smiled, "So Ruth is indeed coming?"
"I sent her the train ticket the other day,” Brian said smiling excitedly.
"Wonderful, Andrew and I can't wait to meet her. She sounds lovely,” Colleen said.
"She is." Brian smiled.

*************************************

Ruth packed her bags the night before she was to leave for Boston. Brian had said that his sister Colleen had her hands full with 5 children, and another on the way and needed help from her. So, Ruth was going to be a nanny to Brian's 6 nieces and nephews. She was glad that Brian had seen to it that she would have a place to stay. She was also very anxious to meet this young man she'd been writing to for 3 months.
"Ruthie...I can't believe you're leaving for a man you've never even met!" Annie yelled in through Ruth's locked bedroom door the next morning.
Ruth had tried to avoid confrontation with her family since she told them about her decision to end her engagement to Jonas almost three weeks ago.
"You don't even know these people you'll be living with!" Annie added. Ruth sighed and opened her bedroom door.
"Have Nathaniel take my bags down to the carriage,” she said easing past her sister, who was trying to block her way.
Ruth looked up to see her father standing at the top of the steps, "Ruth, you don't have any use of the servants. That's part of your inheritance,” he said in his deep voice.
Ruth sighed, and turned around to get her bags. "Alright, I'll carry them myself."
“And you may not take our carriage,” he added.
"And I'll call a carriage,” she added as she turned into her bedroom.
Annie sat on the hope chest in Ruth's room.
"Would you please get out?" Ruth said.
"It's not your room anymore, I can stay in here if I like."
"It's your choice." Ruth said lifting her two suitcases and carrying them out of the room and down the hall.

*************************************

Brian called a carriage, and had the driver stop just outside the train station as the train from New York pulled into the station.
"Wait here, I'll be back in a few minutes,” Brian said climbing down. "Yes sir,” the driver said nodding.
Brian fixed his suit, and took a deep breath. He was nervous. He took another deep breath, and walked into the area where he was sure to find the woman he'd sent for.
He peeked around the corner, to see the girl from the picture standing between two suitcases. She looked around, then brushed a lock of her long curly strawberry blonde hair behind her ear.
Brian took yet another deep breath, and walked towards Ruth.
Ruth smiled as she saw Brian. "Hello, my Princess,” Brian said when he'd reached her.
She blushed, “Hello."
"Welcome to Boston,” he said picking up her suitcases.

*************************************

Brian and Ruth arrived at The Cook Estate to find the children outside playing while Colleen sat on the porch holding the youngest of the Cook children. Andrew came out of the stables with David, as the carriage stopped in front of the house. Brian stepped down, and went around the side of the carriage to take Ruth's hand, and help her down.
Ruth smiled, "Thank you."
"You're quite welcome,” Brian said smiling back.
"Is this her?" Becky asked running up to her Uncle Brian.
Brian smiled, and turned and scooped Becky up into his arms, "Yes Beck, this is my Ruthie."
Ruth blushed, "Hello."
Brian looked into Ruth's eyes, "Ruthie, meet my niece Rebeckah,” he said as he led her to the porch. The other children came over to Uncle Brian to be introduced to the pretty girl.
Andrew joined his wife on the porch, "Hello Ruth, I'm Andrew,” Andrew said nodding his hello.
“Hello."
"This is my wife Colleen, our daughters Michaela, Kendra, you've met Rebeckah and our sons Andre` and Andy." Andrew introduced.
"Nice to meet you all,” Ruth smiled.
"Hello Miss Hayward, I'm David and this is my wife Shannon, and our daughter Pearl,” David introduced as Shannon joined him on the porch with their one year old baby girl.
"You all live here?" Ruth asked.
"Yes, David is our Stable Master, and Shannon helps with the cooking,” Andrew replied.
"Oh, I see."
"But they are part of the family, as we hope you will become soon,” Colleen said.
"Oh, she will...I can guarantee that,” Brian said smiling at the young girl beside him.
Ruth blushed once again.
Colleen stood up and handed Michaela to Andrew, "I'll take you to your room Ruth,” she said picking up the suitcases and leading Ruth into the house.

Five year old Katie Sully ran into the post office with her two year old brother Josef, and his identical sister Josie running after her in hot pursuit.
"Hey, hey, where's your mama?" Myra asked looking over to see the three hyperactive children run in.
"She's comin." Katie said, "We're here to get the mail...mamma ordered something for us,” Katie said standing on a box to see over the counter.
"Horace!" Myra yelled.
"Yes, dear?" Horace Bing said coming in the room. Seven year old Samantha followed.
“There any packages for Dr. Mike?" Myra asked.
"Yeah, one just came in today actually. And a letter from Brian too.”
"Brian?" Katie asked pushing Josef and Josie off the box.
"There you three are...what did I tell you about running ahead,” Michaela Quinn said upon seeing her three children in the post office, “Hello Horace, Myra...Samantha." Michaela smiled after she'd taken Katie, Josef, and Josie down from the box.
"Dr. Mike,” Myra said back.
"Here's your mail, Dr. Mike, and there's a letter from Brian,” Horace said handing the package to Michaela.
“Thank you, Horace,” Michaela said while she looked at the package.
"You're welcome."
"Is it the package for us mamma?" Katie asked.
"Yes, I believe it is,” Michaela said smiling at her daughter, “Take your brother and sister's hands, we've got to go to Mr. Brays to get a few things,” she said leading her young troop out the door and down the road to Mr. Brays store.
"Brian wrote a letter to us mamma,” Katie said as they walked out the door.

Three weeks Later...

Brian rode up to the Cook Estate early Saturday evening on his horse Daisy. He was hoping to take a walk with Ruth in the country. He had something to talk to her about.
"Uncle Brian!" Becky exclaimed coming out onto the porch.
"Rebeckah...don't leave the porch dear,” Ruth said coming out after the little one.
"Yes Miss Ruthie,” Becky said.
"Good Evening, my Darling,” Brian said smiling at Ruth.
Ruth smiled, a blush spreading across her face, “Hello Brian."
"I was wondering if you could accompany me on a walk in the country,” Brian said.
Ruth took Becky's hand, "Come inside,” she said leading the little one inside the house. Brian followed.
"Andrew and Colleen return from town in an hour, then I can accompany you,” Ruth said after gently coaxing Becky into the parlour with her brothers and sisters.
"Alright,” Brian said taking Ruth's hand, and leading her into the parlour with his nieces and nephews.
“Did you bring anything for us Uncle Brian?" Andre` asked as Brian sat on the couch.
"No, not today Andre`,” Brian said smiling as his nephew climbed on his lap.
Ruth sat on the floor after getting Michaela out of her bassinet. Kendra scooted close to her nanny to play with her little sister.
"Uncle Brian...are you and Ruthie gonna have babies?" Kendra asked all of a sudden. Ruth blushed bright pink as Brian looked at her passionately.
"Yes, I hope so,” Brian said smiling.
"As many as papa and mama have?" Andy asked.
"Such questions,” came a voice from the hall. Brian, Ruth, and the children looked to see Andrew walk in with Colleen following.
"Papa!" Andy said running to his father and wrapping his arms around his fathers legs.
“Have you been good for Miss Ruthie?" Andrew asked tousling his sons hair.
"Oh yes, they've been wonderful,” Ruth said standing up as Colleen took Michaela out of her arms. Andre` wrapped his arms around his mama's legs.
"I was hoping Ruth and I could take a walk,” Brian said standing also.
"Of course..." Andrew said smiling, "Take your time."
Brian smiled, "Thank you."
"Yes, thank you,” Ruth said as Brian took her hand and pulled her out of the parlour.

*************************************

Brian and Ruth walked along the dirt road that lead to Boston. Brian led his horse behind him, holding the reigns with his left hand.
"Ruthie, darling, I've been doing a lot of thinking about us..." Brian began.
"Yes, as have I,” Ruth said brushing a lock of hair out of her face.
Brian stopped walking, and turned to face Ruth. He reached into his pocket, and pulled out a simple engagement ring. Nothing large or gaudy, just a plain ring.
"Will you be my wife?" he asked presenting her with the ring.
Ruth blushed pink, and wiped a tear from her eyes.
"I want to spend the rest of my life with you, my Princess,” he continued, “It's nothing big, I understand that it's not what you're used to...but...I can buy something bigger when I save enough money,” he rambled.
Ruth took her right hand and put it to Brian's mouth, "Shh...it's beautiful."
Brian smiled, "Not as beautiful as you.”
Ruth smiled, "Yes, I'll be your wife."
Brian beamed as he stuck the ring on her finger, then pulled her close. Looking deeply into her eyes, he leaned forward and gently kissed her for the first time.
"I love you, Ruth Hayward,” he said after their kiss had ended.
“I love you too Brian Cooper,” she said, then kissed him again.

*************************************

Three months later...

Andrew arrived at the train station early Saturday morning. Michaela, Sully, Katie, Josef, and Josefina were arriving at 9am.
Brian and Ruth were to be wed a week from today, and Michaela and Sully were coming early to help with the final preparations, as well as meet their future daughter-in-law.
He let out a sigh, things had been hectic around the Cook Estate, as they got prepared for the elaborate wedding. Ruth's family had arrived from New York only a day before, bringing wedding gowns, and gifts from friends back in the city of Ruth's birth. Ruth's friends Bess, and Madaline were staying in town with Ryan Hawthorne's family. Soon, Michaela and Sully would be adding to the chaos of it all. As much as he loved Michaela, she did have her stubborn way about things.
Hearing the train's whistle, he looked up to see the train pull into the station. Soon, he would be embraced by Michaela, asked about the wedding plans, and then be taking them back to his home for a formal dinner with Ruth's family.
He straightened his suit, and smiled as Michaela and Sully stepped off the train with their 3 children. He stared in shock as Cloud Dancing and Dorothy stepped off as well.
"Well, what a surprise!” Andrew said smiling at Sully's friend.
"Dorothy wanted to attend Brian's wedding, so we came,” the Indian said smiling back.
“Well...hello!" Andrew said.
"Andrew,” Sully said shaking his son-in-law's hand.
"Sully, it’s good to see you,” Andrew said.
Michaela couldn't stand it any longer, and pulled Andrew into her arms for a tight hug. "Michaela..” he chuckled, “hello,” Andrew said.
Michaela smiled.
"Andrew!” Katie said jumping into her brother-in-laws arms.
“Katie!” Andrew said, hugging her and then putting her on the ground again. He tousled Josef’s hair and hugged Josie.
“How's Brian?" Michaela asked as Andrew led them to the awaiting carriage.
Andrew smiled, "Doing well...holding up better than I did."
"Well, that is good,” Cloud Dancing said.
"How are Ruth's parents?" Dorothy asked.
"Driving me insane,” Andrew said honestly.
Cloud Dancing laughed, "Reminds me of your wedding Sully."
“Yes, my mother did go overboard, didn't she,” Michaela said smiling at the memory of her mother.
“I miss Grandma,” Katie said.
"We all do Katie,” Andrew said as he lifted her into the carriage.

*************************************
Friday Night...

Brian and Ruthie were taking a walk along the dirt road, taking a break away from all the chaos back at the Cook Estate.
Brian stopped along the way and pulled Ruth close, “Are you okay?" he asked.
Ruth sighed, and leaned her head on Brian's shoulder. "Oh Bri...I just wish my parents hadn't insisted on planning OUR wedding."
"You've handled it well, sweetie,” Brian said before kissing the top of her head.
Ruth looked up at him, and smiled.
"It'll all be fine, tomorrow we'll be married,” Brian said as he leaned towards her. He kissed her gently.
Ruth smiled again, "Yes," she sighed, “Everything will be fine."
"That's the spirit,” Brian said as they started walking again.

*************************************

Brian stood at the alter with Andrew, Kit, and Ryan. He took a deep breath, and smiled at Andrew who was his Best Man.
"You'll see her soon,” Andrew whispered as the wedding march began.
Down the aisle came Annie, Kendra, Bess and Madeline as the Bridesmaids. Colleen as Ruth's Matron of Honor, and then Rebeckah and Andre` as the Ring Bearer and Flower Girl....a few minutes passed, and down the aisle walked Ruth on her fathers arm, dressed in her gown. Brian couldn't believe how beautiful she looked. Her beauty now surpassed anything he'd observed in her in the past few months. She and Brian's eyes met, and locked for a minute, before she reached Brian.
"Take care of her son,” her father said to Brian as he passed his daughter on to her Groom.
"I will, sir,” Brian said.
Brian and Ruth turned to face the minister, and the service began.
"Dearly Beloved...we are gathered here in the sight of God and man to witness the joining together of Brian Cooper and Ruth Hayward in Holy Matrimony. Who gives this woman to be married to this man?"
"I do,” said Ruth's father.
Brian smiled at his soon to be father-in-law as he sat in the front pew.
The minister joined Brian and Ruth's hands. "Repeat after me. I, Brian".
“I Brian..."
" Take you Ruth, to be my wedded wife"
"Take you Ruth to be my wedded wife..." Brian repeated.
"To have and to hold....." the minister began.
"To have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part,” Brian said smiling at his young Bride.
The minister smiled at Brian, shocked. "Ruth, repeat after me...I Ruth, take you Brian, to be my wedded husband."
"I Ruth, take you Brian, to be my wedded husband,” Ruth repeated tears beginning to fall down her face.
"To have and to hold..."
"To have and to hold,” Ruth said as Brian gently stroked his thumb over her hand and mouthed "I love you."
"From this day forward..." the minister continued
“From this day forward."
"For better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part."
"For better, for worse..." Ruth paused to wipe a tear, "for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health..." she smiled and sniffled as she continued with tears trickling down her nose, "to love and to cherish, till death do us part."
Brian smiled as he looked over at Andre`.
“The rings,” the minister said as Andrew took the rings from his son and handed them to his brother-in-law.
"Brian, take the ring, and place it on Ruth's finger repeating after me. With this ring, I thee wed."
Brian looked deeply into Ruth's eyes as he slid the gold wedding band on her tiny finger, "With this ring, I thee wed."
"Ruth...take this ring, and place it on Brian's finger, repeating after me. With this ring, I thee wed."
Ruth looked at the minister as she took the ring, then looked at Brian, as she slid the ring on his finger, "With this ring, I thee wed."
"Let us pray the Lords Prayer,” the minister said....holding Brian and Ruth's hands together. "Our Father...."
The congregation prayed the prayer with the minister and the new couple, then holding his hands over Brian and Ruth, the minister smiled as he said, "I now pronounce you husband and wife. What God has joined let no man put asunder....Brian, you may kiss your Bride."
Brian smiled as he lifted Ruth's veil, wiped her tears, and looking into her eyes, he passionately kissed her.
Everyone clapped. Michaela wiped her tears on the handkerchief Ruth's father handed her. Ruth's mother wiped a few tears from her eyes, as Brian led his Bride down the aisle with the wedding party following after.
As they stood there, waiting for everyone to come out of the church to congratulate them, Brian smiled at his young wife.
She smiled back.
"I love you my beautiful Bride,” Brian said kissing her again.
Ruth blushed, "I love you too my husband."
Kit smiled at the sight of Brian and his new wife, “See...I told you it wouldn't be so bad." he said.
“What wouldn't be so bad?" Andre` asked.
"The ad for a Bride for Brian,” Kit said smiling.
