The betrayal of a dear friend who killed me in their own way.
Who are you to choose my fate?
You are alone
So you threw the dog a bone
Towards me to show your hate
You were once my brother
But now you are my enemy
Because you turned your back on me
And showed me that you needed me no further
Why must you treat me like dirt?
Did I do something wrong?
Was I a fool all along?
I was too easy to hurt
I was thought to be fragile like a flower
But instead I’m fragile like glass
I show a crevasse
You decided to abuse your power
And hurt the one who loved you most
I gave you my love
And you decided to kill the dove
You sit there and boast
About what you have done
You sharpen your knife
Ready to pierce my heart and take my life
You then ready your gun
You aim and fire
At the ones I love
Sending them above
And you do this to your heart’s desire
I’m lying here dying
And you just look at me and laugh
You then take ahold of your staff
And start denying
That you hurt me
I fade away
Never forgetting this day
Goodbye, dear friend.
