A poem from four years ago from my old account.
Forget my name when I am gone
Forget the hand that wrote this for you
Forget my face when I am gone
Forget my touch that embraced you
Forget my lips that kissed you
Forget my eyes that gazed in yours
Forget the words I whispered in your ears
Forget the songs I sang
Forget those passionate moments we shared
'Why?' I hear you say
Forget me because I can not be the one to keep you from happiness
To hold onto these memories burdens your heart and soul
Forget me so you can move on
Start all over again
Fall in love though it is your first
For if you loved me
You would forget me
