The bond between Twin Daughters and Parents
When my Twins were Born

When my twins were born it was such a miracle

I had just come home from the Doctor Office and I started bleeding

So, I called the doctor and he said to go to the hospital

I did just that and all I was doing at the time was waiting.

Then my water actually broke and I went into labor but daddy

Was not there yet he was outside having a cigarette

While I delivered the twins, they would cry after delivery

When I talked to the first one she quieted down to a silhouette.

When the second one came out daddy came wall sing

In and he started talking and the second Twin

Calmed her down and stopped she stopped crying

While her daddy was in there talking to the twin.

The twins came out in the correct order which was wonderful

The first Twin was named after a name that I liked

And it turned out that she looks just like me which is joyful

The second twin was named after a name that daddy liked

And it turned out that she looks more like her daddy after all.

There is the special bond that we made when the twins were in my tummy

That they recognized our voiced after delivery

That bond we had with our twins was so sweet and endearing

That it leaves us in a state of wondering.
