Based on Matthew 27: 51-53 A dead man rises
Astonished, I stood and stared at my hand

Slowly make a fist. Is this Abraham’s bosom

Or another place for the dead? A strange land,

Where my body, restored, is still entombed.

Outside lights filters in. The cavern is unsealed,

And the stone crumbled. I sense the moving air

Outside. But stumbling to the entry revealed

My city, Jerusalem. A jewel beyond compare

Amongst the vast world. I laugh, weep,

Shout, and dance. Now fully restored,

I sing. He drew me back from the final sleep

To live again. A miracle from my Lord.
