Something to think about. The meaning is up to you.
The Longer Road
by Jack Magnificent

It is foolish to think that we must walk,
Down but two paths in life.
This very thought is just mere talk,
For both paths teem with strife.

We do not take just one from birth,
We travel both a little.
In each some people find their worth,
But do not take the middle.

Jumping ships is a dangerous game,
Living two lives a trap.
On your shoulders place the blame,
For misreading the map.

On one side you find the strong,
Those who do not give in.
On the other side you find the wrong,
Who revel in their sin.

There exists not a way to show you,
How well your path will bode.
Many stones will hit you
As you walk the longer road.
