what I think a road trip to my grand parents house should be like. if they were still here
Its early in the morning. As I looking out the bedroom window I see snow in the grass and inch thick lines coving the breaches of the trees, I think of ma &pa before they get up and the soon to be on a drive we will take to grandma house. As we drive back country roads, I look out the back windows and see a wonderful view: its only 7 in morning and sun is up. the sky is are blue and hillsides white. The grass once was green is now the color of rabbits fur. And the horse are eating grass that is just barely poking up though the snow. There is a empty barn in a field, snow coving the roof and icestrans growing downwards from were its already has tried to melt but is still way cold to do so. it’s a beautiful day. The wonderful view looks like it belongs in a BOB ROSS painting. Its ten a clock the sky is kind of gray with the sun trying to peak though. The kids are having a snow day. And they are having snowball fights in the road. There are forts and snowmen in the front yards. it’s a beautiful day. As it grows dark the kids are drinking hot coco by the roar of a open fire in the fireplace trying to get warm, grandma is sitting in her rocking chair kitting a scarf talking about her younger day as the kids fall asleep. Now I am all growing up and grandma has passed and ma and pa moved into her house. I still take a dive down to grandma house. And BOB ROSS is looking down from heaven thinking why didn’t he paint a wonderful like that. The kind of view that only you can get when you drive the back roads of the countryside. the kids playing in the snow, and the smell of hot coco and burning wood reminds me of when I was younger and I can’t wait until I have some kids of my own so I can pass it on down to them. So even my grand kids can see the wonderful and beautiful view.
