A weirder than usual poem about life and death.

Soaring
Whoring
Abhorring
Raven
Coming
This way
Wickedness
Engrained
Doing
While
Not knowing
Evil is
As evil
Must be
All life
Embraced
Each death
To be faced
Raven
Landing
Closer
This life
A Prison
Death
Escapism
Hateful
Hatred
Never
Meant
This here
This now
Hell
Heaven
Opposing
Opinions
Oblivious
Depictions
Knowing
Nothing
Confessing
Everything
Fools
Embracing
Facing
Oblivion
Blinded
By seeing
Fooled
By reason
Or lack
Thereof
Flesh
Blood
Meat
Undone
Memories
Lost
Who
Whom
Matters
Not
Infantile
This place
Existence
Not for us
Raven
Coming
Landing
Closer still
Porous
His skin
Empty
His eyes
Soulless
Said beast
Killer
Be kind
Questions
No answer
Fearing
The feeling
Knowing
No reason
Understanding
So much less
Homecoming
Returning
To creation
Maybe
Mistaken
Ashes
Then dust
Upon the wind
Soaring
Looking again
Finding
Seeing
All-knowing
Raven
Death
Sent
Meant
Landing close
Escape
We won’t
Time
Our crime
Punishment
Our demise
What’s next
Not known
A guess
Illogical
At best
Fearing
Life
Afraid of
Such strife
Sinning
Unclean
Just by being
We’ve failed
At living
Because we’ve
Succeeding
At dying…
