FIELDS OF GREEN

A greener grass
No one will ever see
Looking across fields
Where the cattle graze
And the deer are seen
This scene is a picture for calendars
A land on which you can forever look

A greener grass
So very hard to find
Than that looked upon
By pretty blue eyes
Given real pleasure
As it stretches out there to meet the sky
Nearly enticing you to write a book.
