Dealing with a Broken heart.
As all of us, I was born with one and it grew year after year just like I did. It was happy when I was, sad when I was, it felt joy, regret, Hope, faith and love. It felt respected and gave respect, it felt honor.
It has felt pain and suffering and failure but through all that it was there, until one day you start to realize that it’s no longer whole.

It loved as hard as I did and broke sometimes but most of those times I was able to find all the pieces, glue them together to make it whole again.
Damaged and scared as it was it was whole. We grow up being taught to guard and protect it with everything we have but then life hits us 10 ways sideways and those chains are broken and the heart is now exposed to encounter the horrible and terrible things life has to offer.

I never thought I would witness the day it shattered, shattered so bad that I wasn’t able to find some of the pieces, so bad that I no matter how hard I searched and tried, it would never be whole again.
I placed some of the broken pieces in the correct place but it can never feel the same.

Amongst so many other missing pieces, with question to be answered, how does one mend a broken heart 💔
