A short poem about my experience with an emotionally draining relationship
Be careful who you choose as your lover.

Everything that glitters isn't gold.

Falsely feeling head over heels, not knowing

you're about to sell your soul.

A couple months have passed by and now

you see the truth.

Your gold is an energy vampire, a sly thief of youth.
