Breaking all the stereotypes.
Dear future Me,
Sorry if i have been embarrassing you always,
Sorry if I have done nothing but give you bad memories,
Sorry if I have hurt you beyond repairs,
Sorry if I have made fun out of you,
Sorry if you can’t tell people proudly about me,
Sorry for everything wrong that happened due to me.

You have gone so far,
And i admire you alot for it,
You have become so strong, so brave.
You must have dealt with everything alone
You must have had tears inside but showed a smile outside.
You didn’t have anyone to go to when were are confused.
You didn’t have a wall blocking all Your problems,
You had to become that wall yourself.

You had to build everything by yourself.
You had to repair all those broken pieces,
You had to make sure they don’t break anymore.
You had to take the risk,
Without being informed of the pros and cons.
You had to learn the lesson yourself,

Nobody taught them to you.
You had to change the way people think
All by yourself. You didn’t have me by your side.
You didn’t have a book with you,
You had to become the author that
I should have been for you.
You were your own guide and mentor.

Yes you faced embarrassment but
That was because you wanted to explore
The world. You were enthusiastic,
You owned up to that embarrassment.

Yes you broke like a glass,
Into million pieces that couldn’t
Become a mirror again.
But you made an empire with,
Those very broken pieces.
Nobody gave you glue,
You made your own glue.
You had no labour,You were the labour.

Yes I knew nothing,
But you didn’t give up,
You learned everything by yourself.
Many people can’t embrace us,
When we are of no use,
But you embraced me.

You didn’t care about what others said.
All you did was show them,
How to create a better future by,
Living in the present, not the past.
Even though i am embarrassing,
You didn’t hide me, but
In Fact you showed me to everyone.

This is why i love you,
And I respect you.
I could never make you,
Feel proud of me, but
You made me proud of you.
