written by my son when he was 14 for me, he is now 34
Full of love and undying devotion, strength and will, courage and emotion.

Always with her head held high, no matter what shall pass her by.

Through good and bad, happy or sad, she bears the things I wish I had.

She keeps it inside, so full of pride.

Yet she walks through each day with a tear in her eye.

Trying to hide her hurt and her pain, as if ashamed of what little she's gained.

These are the things I always knew, being there for me everyday that I grew.

For the rest of my life I will always love her.

This beautiful being, I call my Mother
