The World is Coming to an End

The world is coming to an end.
I heard it on the news.
Just listen in between the lines.
There are so many clues.

This president we have is nuts.
He is a racist, too.
Each time he opens up his mouth
not a single word is true.

And that’s the man who holds our fate,
our future in his hands.
A guy who says he knows it all
yet doesn’t understand.

He doesn’t understand our laws,
our morals, or our rights.
His only interest is himself.
Just look at his sound bites.

He plays at war and peace each day
as if it is a game.
If things don’t go the way he wants
he finds someone to blame.

How long can this chaos go on
before the world explodes?
Before we lose all sense of good
and society erodes?

We have to save ourselves somehow
and make the world more sane.
Let’s put the Trumpster out of work.
His loss will be our gain.
