A non-cooking poem, with a tip o' the hat to Dr. Seuss.
You don't have to cook,
Please, sit, and read a book,
While you curl up in this nook.
I will do the cooking,
While you stand there just a looking.

I will tell the waiter,
That we shall be ready to cater,
Not now, but maybe later,
We will be serving
Steaks made from tail of gator.
To know how much, hand me that calculator,
When it's done, we shall send it down the dumbwaiter.

I need that fifty gallon pot,
We have to make a lot,
But first, we must get it hot. OUCH!
With some water we shall throw in,
Lots of vegetables,
Lots of edibles,
And maybe an herb or two.
Would you mind putting some coffee on to brew?
In goes the tail of gator,
followed by a tater,
Aren't I such a grand creator?

This has all been such great fun,
But I'm sad to say that now I'm done.
I must be going, I really gotta run.
You don't have to cook,
Please, sit, and read a book,
While you curl up in this nook.
I will do the cooking,
While you stand there just a looking.
