This write up piece is close to my heart.
And I will always understand why fate was never good to us. I will always understand why it did not let us to be together just as how much I understand how parallel lines were always in the same direction but never were meeting each other. Just as how the sun with its glorious light will never get close to the moon in its serenity at night. Just as how the winter snow starts to melt as the first sprout blooms on the ground. I will always understand that we are here but never will be. Never will be like the stars dangling in the night sky admiring the imperfections of the moon. Never will be like the cool waves of dawn kissing the sands at bay. Never will be like the horizon embracing the sun as it sets leaving behind traces of it reflected in the sea for the horizon to keep. Never will be like the soft blow of the wind to a falling of an autumn leaf cradling it gently until it reaches the ground. I will always understand that our closeness is so far apart. Like how Icarus started longingly at the sun wishing that he would be able to touch her and feel her warmth. Like how romeos stars never aligned with juliets no matter how hard they drew a new constellation. Like jack and rose watching the sinking of titanic never knowing they themselves will be only memories of wreckage at the end. I will always understand that solitary i snout ever after. But even so, I will hold you even from afar. I will hold you like an invisible thread tied on your pinky finger like a breathing promise. I will hold you just as I hold memories in my mind that plays nonstop. I will hold you like I hold every intangibly good things that comes my way because you are one of them. I will hold you like I hold my heart protectively. I will hold you like how I carry a glass of water as I sanely treadled a wire of insanity. I will hold you just as how I hold a dream that I never want to escape my touch. I will hold you even if fate itself would not. And even if I will be holding alone, I will always understand.
