A tale about how a New Year Resolution is written only for it to disappear.
White with snow
from the storm
the new year comes
and life is too short.

A trip to Disneyland
excites the dead
walking among the living
with a resolution in hand.

A skeleton flies by
enjoying a day
of tears and laughter
as the holidays end.

Walking upside down
as a skeleton can
heading towards the tower
to fulfill his resolution.

Beginning the climb
one bone to the next
he joined the many people
going for the top.

A girl laughed with delight
as he gave a bone away
to entertain a girl
and reaching the top.

New year resolution in hand
accomplishing the first goal
the skeleton turned
to make his way down.
