A thought about the boundless imagination of humans.
From the birth of humankind arises the miracle of imagination.
From the creation of fire to the conception of the artificial mind, man's imagination spans the titanic expanse of years in moments. In our infancy, we first beheld the sun in the heavens.
In our infancy, we saw the orb that is Earth from orbit.

When we gaze into our newborn's eye we see the creation of our human empires.
The baby's hand reaches outward and we hold it, comforting it as it grows.
The baby's adventure of exploration, to seek, to know, the utter beauty of learning forces him onward.

He fights to caress what he touches.
His wants and needs are nourished and inspired.
His ideas that can turn the smallest grain of matter into the destruction of the world can also bring the indescribable beauty of existence.

The flower blossoms signal the adult coming of age.
Stretching, reaching, it moves out into the world.
Tapping life on the shoulder the man longs to help but in his own way.

Sculpting his likeness in the past he longs for eternity.
Probing the future he ignores the past.
Forever living, forever changing, forever growing, the mind's eye can awaken the universe.
