A photograph of words
** Image ID #2210092 Unavailable **

My eyes dance upon the amber skies,
zig-zagging their abstract painting
with marmalade, honey and tangerine.
A rich display of the ultimate artisan's
creative imagination without bounds.
As a trace of marigold encircles the
receding sun, the last bit of golden light
reaches down to caress the peaks of
the slightly rolling mahogany mountain-
tops, given way to the shadows of the
arriving darkness.

Trees stand tall, and they stand proud,
keeping a watch throughout the night,
'twixt the high land behind, and the
creamy strip of sandy shore ahead.

A shimmering, warm glow guiding my eye
down the luminescent, meringue moon glade,
proffering a nightlight to all of the lost
souls wandering in the dense ebony night.

And the dark misty lavender ripples
lap softly across the cooled liquid,
spotlighting any traces of illumination.
Snugly wrapping it between the swaying motion,
carrying it on toward other worlds.
