The night was dark and scary till I met this beautiful soul. Innocence and trust combined.
It's pitch dark.. when the cab tyre was gone, and the driver stopped the car on a by pass road. He started changing the tyre..

Watching the road outside in silence with that clear sky was usually relaxing and soothing.. but this was not the case today..

It's Late at night.. when mom always told to be home early, when trust of ' he will drop me home safe' was broken by a friend and the only option is cab that too was a misassumption. Having no one to talk about this tonight and to share.. That must be a real scary night.

Will I reach home safe..? You know now you will remind all the rape cases around you, all that u have ever heard. Not only that, every other negative incidences that you have heard will flash all at once.. yea that was my exact feeling.

Now I heard a voice.. 'Akka..! Do you have some water..' To my scary notice there stood a girl.. Her skin just matched that dark light, dull eyes, red lipstick matched her grand saree, long black platted hair with flowers.

I hesitated a moment and offered her some water.. once after drinking, she said 'you are very lucky that I envy you'. I replied 'Me and luck.. that's too far for me.. see my situation..'

Just in a curiosity I asked her 'why did u say that'.. she continued ' you seem to be working in IT. You have all freedom to Go out at late night, have fun and being bold enough to stay in car when your driver is changing the tyre. Why din't you book another cab?'

Yea shit.. why didn't I think about booking another cab ?! Ok lemme check for it now.. God nothing is available at this location now..

She continued ' you din't reply.. what were you searching in phone suddenly'. I gave her a look... And said 'I am searching another cab. I couldn't find any'. She said 'dont worry I can give you company till your driver complete changing the tyre'

Now I am relaxed.. I have got someone to stay by my side. As u all have guessed what must be her profession. I dint want to ask anything about her and leave her in embarrassment..

I said ' Thank you so much.. why don't u join me for a lunch some day' Now I can see the excitement in her eyes that someone invited her..

She said ' do you really mean that? I can join you someday.. actually I really don't have much friends.. and nobody had invited me like this..'

I said ' sure we can meet up some day in a good environment'

Once the driver was done with the tyre, she left me with her number having hope of my call some day.. that she might meet someday on day light in the beautiful city, be friends with and laugh on silly things..

That innocence of a 17 year girl touched me.. when the car passed by her bright smile and waving hand, gave me a wonderful feel. Yea I forgot to note her name..

I called her after 2 days to invite her for lunch.. the phone rang.. and I heard the same innocent voice.. 'hello.. this is INIYAA..' I am sure she is.. 😊
