A strange poem for a strange time
Quarantine, O Quarantine,
I fill with lust and nicotine,
The alcohol flows through my blood,
My Dear, please pass the ketamine.

Or Darling, don't you see
How isolation is pain to me?
I want to live with you right now
But nothing makes me happy.

Apathy, O Apathy,
I love you Dear, but hate is free.
Where can I go to drown my woe?
I swear, it's not you, it's me.

Or Darling, don't you agree
That life is hell, stuck here with me?
I can't survive, alone with myself,
So think, Love, how could we?

Tragedy, O Tragedy,
How awful, always home with me.
The quarantine has trapped me here
Where distraction now runs empty.

Or Darling, could you, maybe,
See something else than what I see?
Perhaps I'll stay alive tonight
If when I wake, I'm where you'll be.
