A Writer's Cramp Entry
What day is it
Lord only knows
I work seven a week
It never shows.

Bring home the pay
It goes for the bills
Lord only knows
I have no frills!

Saturday I think
Or Tuesday perhaps
Lord only knows
It's a memory lapse.

Time runs together
Or time came to a stop
Day after day
Finds me swinging a mop!
