I was diagnosied with cancer. He died of a heart attack in two years' time.
Dr. Hubbard

I would bring you flowers,
Beautiful red roses,
If I could,

To say, "Thank you."
Thank you for my life.
Because of you,
I live.

I have seen my
children reach adulthood,
And held my grandchildren
in my arms.

I have made a list
of things to do,
And marked them
accomplished,
one by one.

I have traveled beside my husband
these many years,
And enjoyed the world,
Because of you.

I would bring you flowers,
If I could.
