Poetry Topic of the Month May Contest / Memory
In Memory of Camp Happy Hollow

Your world – my world,
They are really miles apart.
But we met at camp,
I as counselor, you as student.

We played together,
Ate, studied, and walked together,
And enjoyed our short period of time.

Now you’re back in your world,
And I’m back in mine.

You loved me with a child’s love,
And in my heart,
I feel your closeness still.
