I. Introduction

Hi! My name is Anna Marie Carlson. In the year 1974, I went through three ⚟ major traumas: (1) I had to attend a funeral for a dear friend who I had a crush on; this was my friends' brother (2) I was running 🏃 for Dairy Princess 👸 and when I gave my speech 🗨 about the "The Funniest Thing That Happened To Me On The Farm", I was very sick, which made it very hard to give, and (3) I was a witness in the aftermath of murder.

II. First Keypoint

Experiencing the death ☠ of someone who seemed to make me laugh, even though we never dated, I had a crush on. He was the first prospect I had in hopes of marrying someday.

III. Second Keypoint

Running 🏃 for Dairy Princess 👸 was a huge step for me since I was very shy about getting up in front of people, let alone giving a speech. I was excited about the topic of "What Was The Funniest Thing That Happened To Me On The Farm"? I was getting into giving my speech; I didn't plan on being sick.

IV. Third Keypoint

Being a witness to the aftermath of murder was very devastating to me; I was in total shock 🤯 when this happened. I was thankful that I had turned down 👇 an invitation to a surprise 😲 birthday 🎂 party 🎉 for a friend. There were several things that I planned to do on the night it happened, but things came up that had canceled my plans. It was a good thing because it I had done any of those things, I would've been right in the path of the murder.

V. Conclusion

The conclusion to my story is that the funeral of my dear friend was the first funeral I ever attended, and to make matters worse, he passed away on the eve of my birthday; he drowned in a river. The reason I became ill 🤒 when I was running 🏃 for Dairy Princess 👸 was that someone had slipped three hits of acid into my Coca Cola; I almost passed away from the experience. When I witnessed the aftermath of the murder, I'm mostly told to get over it and get on with my life; the trouble is that I never have gotten over it. I go on with my life the best I can, but it's not easy. The best thing to do in handling a crisis is to not give up. Do your best, that's all I ask because you're special and so am I. It takes courage to get through such things as death, trauma, loss of something that you tried, but there it was; this obstacle that prevented you from ever finding out what could have been, then wonder the rest of your life what would have happened if you had done just that, accomplishing that very goal. Don't be beating yourself up; we are survivors; no matter what struggles we go through, we pick ⛏ ourselves up, put ourselves out there by doing what we have to do. We are winners, no doubt about it, so hang in there; it will be all right.
