Poetic musings on a thunderstorm.
Electric breezes hint at the approaching storm.
Dry dust whipped up by the wind chokes the air.
By far overdue the first drop of rain falls.
Its brethren wring the dust from the air.
The musty scent of rain overpowers the taint of scorched earth.
It is the scent of renewal.
