We live life without knowing its purpose. I wrote this in a way to show what I think of it
What is the meaning of life
I had once asked my wife
"It's something you learn to live dear"
Her reply I could very well hear.

Yet still it was confusing
this new way that I am thinking
I have so much around me
Yet I cannot let life be

As I sat under a cherry blossom tree
I though to myself, "What would it be,"
"If there was no murder or racism
Kidnapping or terrorism?"

Will life be worth to live then
Without the grief that we feel when
We hear on the news the murder
That struck us all from under.

We are men
We are women
We are gay
We are lesbian.

We are Bisexual
We are Transgender
We are black
We are white

But we are all the same
Life is not a game
So why not accept the difference
And prove we are all of equivalence.

That night, when I went to bed
Life was clear in my head.
Life is about trust
Life is about learning to adjust

Live is about love
Life is about figuring out how
We are all equal and there is no
Differences that we can't accept to follow

"So," I told my kids
"Life is about this
The love and compassion we share
And how well we spread equality in the life we bear..."

The End
