Poem for Writrer's Cramp
The Perfect Gift

The perfect gift
What might that be
A new sports car
Wide screen TV

Big bank account
401 K
Nice bit coins
That ain't hay

New game console
That you can't get
A motor boat
A saber jet

Perhaps those thoughts
Are in the dark
And flashy toys
Don't hit the mark

One Christmas Eve
From long ago
The perfect gift
We came to know

It wasn't wealth
Or worldly fame
It was the babe
From heaven came

For on that night
The heaven's rang
Glory to God
The angels sang

Peace on Earth
Goodwill to men
The Word's with us
Both now and then

The Perfect Gift
Have no fear
The Perfect Gift's
Already here
