There is a love that is stronger than all others

What use is love
In a world full of bitterness and betrayal?
What can love do
Against a tide of indifference and anger?
How can love flourish
In a world of selfishness?
Will love die
Before the world perishes?
One man knows
One man shows
The way
From deep despair and abandonment
To exquiste delight and glory
From blind and groping hopelessness
To dazzling truth and purpose
At the and of mankind's dark tunnel of experiment
To a light that illuminates a wondrous future
From seething rage of politics and divisions
To sweeping calm of spirit
And the deepest well of compassion
He has conquered the world
And set our future free
By enduring death himself
Has given us an escape
For this love transcends all things
And cures all ills
Mends all broken hearts
And by it, death will subside
And eternity beckons us all
To inherit the earth
In life without ending
For this is what he has accomplished
With pain
With agony
With final breath
Behold,
The real love

"God loved the world (mankind), so much that He gave his only-beggotten son, so that everyone exercising faith in him might not die but have everlasting life" - JOHN 3.16
