Empty your mind and walk in nature
WALK IN THE PARK

Glance down.
Amidst the detritus
Grows the crocus.

Poking shy lavender heads
Out of the leaf littered earth.

Careful! You almost missed it.
Mind too self absorbed
With gnawing thoughts.

The crocus knows.
Sunlight beckons after icy winter,
Lavender blossom appears.

Empty your mind of the
Cold grip of doubts and
Your own soul will blossom.

You almost missed it!
Pert lavender petals,
Freshly minted.

Miracles abound.
Close your thoughts down
And open your eyes.
