For those who don't know (or even much care) about the difference.
Haiku - Senryu
Identical forms to most
Vain poets dissent

Haiku and Senryu are close cousins in the poetry world. In English, both have 5 7 5 syllable counts, almost always unrhymed. Traditionally, haiku are about nature while senryu are about people. Traditionally, they are more serious and contemplative, though they have become popular as a very simple poetic form that doesn't require anything more than counting syllables. There is much more use of humor and irony among "the masses". Serious poets shudder, which is surely a good sign.

I am less sure how to categorize those poems which anthropomorphize nature. I'll let serious poets fret over that. How would you categorize the following?

Idle winds whisper
Wise trees exchange knowing nods
At Nature's secrets
