Fearless

Am I fearless,
or do I just fear
a little bit less?

Have I gotten used
to what's happening inside,
numb to the pain within?

My super power,
a smile on my face
a hand to help others
even in the midst
of my own distress.

Have I become so good
at hiding my cares
I'm now blind to them myself?

Am I really fearless?
Or have I simply mastered
the art of acceptance?
