poem: The Whatever Contest

Books are my company and my friends
I read them: they tell when and then
They tell the story of adventure and glory
And in them are all kinds of stories

An adventure, poem, mystery, or thriller
Or maybe it’s a scary and haunting chiller
A writer a reader it all works together
Stories told always get better and better

Write with might for readers delight
Stories told through writing might
keep readers reading day and night
