many things can be found in a state of disrepair
These days, they seem to hobble by
an unsightly, lumbering shamble.
The view from my window is now hindered
by these tangled vines and bramble.
The weeds choke out gardens once fair
and spring from cracks in the walkway.
This house now sits in disrepair
since mimicking my mind's decay.
