We all yearn for the same things,
Every Living Soul
Lines: 12

Along the twisty path
on the rockiest of roads
walks every one of us
every living soul

beneath the darkest sky
above the frigid earth
we fight to stay alive
trembling at the thought

of missing all that is
the challenges, the pain
the starry, starry nights
summers’ gentle rain
