            THEM

        It begins with you,
      or so they say.
    The sun comes up,
  another day.
We laugh, we cry
  along the way
    but never know
      how much they paid
        until we take their place.

            Life looks so good,
            we know what's best
                          until we're put
                                Into the test.
                                They try to say
                        but we won't rest
                      'til life moves on
                  it's now our nest,
And ours won't even listen.
