I confess to a secret guilty addiction to R.L. Stine's scaries for YA and MG audiences. I've been reading them for decades; in fact, this was a reread of WELCOME TO DEAD HOUSE. First in August 2018, this reading reintroduced me to a house about which one should follow one's intuition [unless of course one's vocation is dedicated ghost hunter!] In fact, "Dead House" reminds me of the much gorier "Bridge Manor" in Marc Layton's adult Horror trilogy.
"Welcome" to Dead House: visit, but please don't move in.
