A broken world turns to war
A people flee in fear
We hear the Russian bear roar
The threat to freedom growing near

Death reigns, the wounded cry
Hope is lost in the dark
"Where is love?" We sigh
Life is not a walk in the park

Our Body bleeds into the earth
God sees the sacrifice and stains
We long for the rebirth
Our resurrection hope remains
